Virtual Excursions can be used to create unique learning experiences for students of all ages. Since 2001 I have designed and delivered innovative programs for schools across New South Wales and Australia. Over the last 20 years I have become a leading expert on using digital technologies especially virtual excursions to deliver quality learning experiences in schools.
Australian Environmental Education provides an opportunity for your staff to be trained on how to deliver their programs as a Virtual Excursion. Virtual Excursions can be used to create unique learning experiences for students of all ages using existing technology. There are a variety of ways to use digital technologies to discover new learning opportunities. I think the best way is to participate in live, interactive virtual excursion sessions. This enables students to ask questions and really be involved in their online education, interact not simply watch a video.

Chair Virtual Excursions Australia 2012 – 2021
Virtual Excursions Australia was founded at the 2012 QUESTnet conference in Cairns by Stephen Bancroft, Ben Newsome and Karen Player. We wanted a place where content providers could learn about the importance of video conferencing. The portal provided an opportunity to also promote the amazing organisation across Australia enabling distance learning.
